Lyon Real Estate is committed to the communities we serve. Through the Lyon Cares Foundation and individual office level programs, every Lyon office gives $10,000 in two $5,000 grants to worthy organizations throughout Greater Sacramento, totaling $185,000 company-wide each year. Our vision is to inspire and empower care and kindness in our community. We offer time, talent and treasure to local organizations that make our community a better place. More than 97% of Lyon sales associates and employees contribute to the Lyon Cares Foundation.
Lyon’s Annual Community Service Day
Lyon’s annual Community Service Day brings together volunteers from each of Lyon’s 16 offices to help communities in need. From food banks to animal rescues to community clean-ups, local organizations benefit from the hands-on projects led by Lyon agents and employees.
Lyon’s Community Service Day allows agents and staff to give back to the communities in which they live, work, and play. Each office researches the greatest need in its local area, reaches out to organizations, and works collaboratively to plan a project.
Over 10,000 Coats Donated to Local Non-Profits Since 2010!
Each October, each of Lyon’s 16 local offices, in conjunction with our agents, clients and colleagues, collect new and gently used coats and winter clothing items to distribute to those in need throughout the Sacramento, Yolo, Placer, and El Dorado counties. Each year, we are able to donate thousands of coats, scarves, mittens, hoodies, fleece, hats, and more to over 25 local nonprofits and organizations. It is our largest community drive and a tradition we take great pride in.
